101 ODI Stumpings, 100 International Fifties, 124 Not Outs – MS Dhoni Is Leading Team India From The Sidelines

At 36, MS Dhoni is in the twilight of his career. In a couple of years, his career should be over, but as of now he is still leading the side, but from the sidelines.

Since he gave up the skipper, Dhoni has settled into the role of the senior statesman. Something he saw the likes of Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid do around the time he came into the side.

Dhoni recently completed 100 ODI stumpings and now has 101, the most by any keeper in the format. He also is one of the selected few to score 100 international fifties and has 124 not outs across formats – the most by any player.

Virat Kohli is in charge no doubt, but  the wealth of experience ‘Captain Cool’ brings to the table is invaluable to the Men in Blue. While carrying his side along, if he breaks a few records, well then no harm done.
